Pitch deck - OpenBlend
OpenBlend needed to create a consistent pitch deck that resonated with their value proposition, articulated the problem they solve and how they solve it, and also enabled them to onboard new sales members quickly and easily.
Working closely with the CEO and CCO, we refined the story and content, before designing a deck that really enhanced their ability to pitch.

'Why us?' deck - Loxley Investment
Working with a fund management start up to develop a new brand aimed at modernising investment funds and evoking the feel of a luxury product.
We made the decision to remove all imagery from the deck, and adopt a minimal design, utilising colour and space to emphasise and draw the viewer in.
Survey presentation - Argentex
Presenting the results of a company survey in an easy-to-understand way, that ensured an accurate interpretation of the survey results, and a compelling story.

Visual Identity - Loxley Investments
Understanding and clarifying the founders vision, values, and target audience enabled the creation of a visual identity that really belonged to the company and ensured it stood out from the crowd in a busy marketplace.
Brand Guidelines - OpenBlend
With no in-house designer OpenBlend was seeing its brand become more and more disjointed. They needed a simple kit to share with agencies and internal staff keeping everyone aligned. I simplified colour palettes, chose one font, gave examples of what good looked like (and what not to do) and made sure all assets were linked to the guidelines so everyone could find them easily.
The result has been a team who is now able to create great on-brand content, and brief agencies efficiently, all resulting in a stronger brand identity.

Multi asset imagery - OpenBlend
OpenBlend needed imagery for a new website, but it was important that this imagery could also be used across multiple assets, from pitch decks to socials posts.
The imagery had two primary goals:
- Give a visual insight into product features (which also ensured it was clear to viewers that they were a software product!)
- Communicate that impactful 1:1 conversations are what drives engagement and performance.
Using a mixture of product imagery, emotive people photography and simple shapes, I created a set of over 40 images that gave a real flavour of what OpenBlend does, and how it does it.
Playful imagery - Children's lifestyle brand
A children's lifestyle brand wanted a set of images that helped bring personality to their brand, and was reflective of their ethos of 'imaginative play.'
By using their products I created a set of fun and playful characters that could be easily adapted and animated, whilst also showcasing all their brilliant children's products.
Evolving brand imagery - Radcliffe Group
Radcliffe Group had worked with an agency to create a set of brand guidelines, but there were many gaps in how this would practically be implemented.
By working with multiple stakeholders across the business I was able to understand their needs and how the imagery could support their messaging and communication. The imagery created could be used across multiple applications, from powerpoint presentations to web and socials, and easily replicated when additional imagery was needed.

Website Design - Child Protection Research
Large amounts of research relating to child protection exists, but navigating this research was not easy, meaning that it was hard to ensure the right people could find the information they needed to make a difference. There was also a need to communicate the gaps in research, and while an Evidence Gap Map had been created, it needed to be shared in an easy to understand way.
By clarifying the goals of the website, the users and their needs, plus the key modules that were required to meet these needs, we were then able to create a set of working greyscale prototypes that let us really test user journeys and ensure we built a website that could make a difference.

Product design - OpenBlend
As a progressive piece of software, OpenBlend transforms the way people work by structuring meaningful conversations between managers and their direct reports.
Working with them from the discovery stage of user feedback and prototyping, through to the delivery stage of final designs and requirements, I was able to help create features that were truly used and valued by customers.

Design is at the heart of every role I have done, from my training as an architect to delivering great digital user experience. I am a visual learner and am drawn to the brilliance of how design can make us understand a concept, navigate a journey, connect with a brand or simply make us smile. It is the Common Language we engage through.
